The donation strengthens the ongoing collaboration between the Center and the Division of Biosecurity in supporting the safe and proper movement of pets into and out of the Republic of Palau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The donation coincides with a two-day workshop conducted by Dr. Decina for Biosecurity Officers, which began on Thursday, July 30, 2026. The workshop covers Palau\u2019s pet import and export requirements and includes hands-on training in the proper use of the microchip scanner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bureau of Agriculture Director Jodean Remengesau expressed her appreciation, stating: \u201cThank you for this important donation to the Division of Biosecurity. This equipment has been needed for some time and will greatly assist the officers in verifying pet information and ensuring compliance with import and export requirements.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bureau of Agriculture Director Remengesau, Bureau of Customs and Border Protection Director Joline Spesungel, and Chief of Biosecurity Devon Andreas attended the handover ceremony, together with Biosecurity Officers and staff from Osebelel a Charm Animal Care and Learning Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and the Environment and the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Decina and her staff for their continued support and collaboration.
